簡介：　

明末清初，各路英雄紛紛組織團體反清複明，其時勢力最龐大的有洪門及天地會，洪門傳人洪熙官(石修飾)與天地會首腦姚璘(關海山飾)經常密謀活動，而洪熙官身上更有著一塊先朝遺下，可以號召反清義士的金牌。

　　一次，洪熙官與洪門各長老商議複明大計時，清兵突然殺至，清廷並有深谙邪術的赤冠仙(郭鋒飾)與徒弟赤練甲(楊炎棠飾)相助，洪門長老均被殺，洪熙官則逃出，躲進民間機房中充作小工。 先後遇上方世玉(董玮飾)及胡惠乾(苗僑偉飾)

　　其時，熙官行藏被清廷偵破，清廷欲在熙官手上奪取那面金牌，熙官之金牌卻被世玉搶去。翠花知赤練甲厲害，要世玉投少林寺，一來避難，二來可學技藝，世玉雖不願意，礙于母命難爲，只得與惠乾上路。

　　天地會首腦姚璘亦想得到熙官的金牌，因此遣女兒姚冷翠(歐陽佩珊飾)上少林，冷翠是個心高氣傲的少女，她上少林時惹下不少麻煩，但是因爲世玉對她一見傾心，竭力相助，冷翠得以被少林寺收留。

　　世玉對冷翠雖則追求甚力，但是因爲冷翠目的在熙官手上的金牌，對熙官更爲接近，世玉與熙官便因此不合。
